ok i know.. it seems like its been forever since i last updated… here are my usual excuses - not enough time in between classes, time to rejuvenate, oncalls, "studying", sleeping, eating, partying, etc…

!st Raya morning started out as per usual, ringing voices in our ears at 630 in the morning to get our butts out of bed to get ready for Sembahyang Raya.

After prayers we line up as we do every year starting with the eldest (Daddy) and youngest (Haiqall) member of the family and go around in a circle to salam everyone elder than us…

This year with the help of 3G technology, we were able to let everyone in on our Skype video call to Abang in Indy and Naz in Glasgow…

Yup!! I got it!! And on the weekend it was released in USA too! hehe…

Hubbykinz is Mr.Gadget what, how could you have not seen this coming? hehe… The perks of having a gadget-crazy guy!!

Mine's in lime green and I love it! Now I have my whole mp3 collection in the 8GB Ipod!! No need to pick and choose and stuff only 2GB of songs anymore!! Plus the new Nano has a shake feature where you just got to give it a little shake and it will switch to the next track… Plus this design is super thin, sleek and light…

My 1st gen nano has been handed down to Hubbykinz and I think he's finally not gonna be so bored on LRT when he goes to work =D

For the next 3 weeks (excluding 1 week off next week for raya) I have been posted to Banting Hospital as part of our Primary Care Medicine Posting…

First impression of the place - scary shit! I arrived about 930 pm and it was so freaking dark everywhere… we got our keys from the MO at paeds then headed to our even scarier hostel block…

I have the privilege of having a room all to myself… And the room is super huge! Compared to UM and Klang… And the best part? It has attached bathrooms! No more sharing and rushing to get dressed at 7am! woo hoo! hehe…

my essentials - laptop, 3G broadband, HP, novel, hard disk (with all my tv series!) and headphones for Skype

We had a short briefing this morning with the Sister and Hospital Director… And among all the other stuff we have to do here this is something I find the most lawak amongst all…

Yes my friends… I have to punch card (literally) EVERY morning before 8am! And when I leave in the evening at 5pm! It's supposed to "train" us to be punctual doctors it seems… hehe…

The hospital here kinda reminds me of my old school… I think it's the long thingies at the walkway… Very school-ish…

Other than that everything seems to be okay (for now) for ME here… 5 more days till I'm back in PJ for a week - counting the secs, mins and hours already!

I leave you with a word from the very wise Banting-ian (that would be you Amelaganja!), and I quote "Banting Hospital - turns the ones you LOVE into the ones you LOVED" =)

p/s - thanks to everyone who was soooo concern over my FB status on coming to Banting… some really made me laugh my heart out! you know who u are =D

This year we had the best gift of all and I couldn't have asked for more… I think we deserve a second celebration =)

Here's to 3 years of absolutely nothing but LOVE, FUN, LAUGHTER and everthing else in between…
